"Patrick's warmth as a person and teacher, mixed with his direct and clear instruction makes his class a perfect atmosphere not only for learning, but for complete transformation.
Although a somewhat experienced improvisor, I needed help. I couldn't get over a hump of mediocrity. Patrick zeroed in on my good habits so I felt confident and nailed me on my "bad" habits. Now performing is consistantly what it should be: fun and electric."
- Michaela Watkins, The Groundlngs, SNL

You'll be directing your very own, one time only zombie musical.

David Razowsky
On Tuesday, February 3rd, David Razowsky, Second City alumni and former Artistic Director of the Training Center of The Second City Los Angeles, will be moving his long-running Advanced Improv Drop-In workshop to The Asylum Theatre, 6320 Santa Monica Blvd.
The basis of this class is to remind ourselves that all improvisation is acting, and to focus on the ease of getting to the scene as soon as possible, staying focused on your partner, feeling comfortable with silences, and making scenic choices outside of your expectations. Learn how to make the scene come to you instead of you searching for the scene.
Advanced Improv is a $30 per class drop-in program offered on Tuesdays 7-10 p.m. and Thursdays from 4-7 p.m. Students who have not taken classes with David are encouraged to email him prior to their first visit to the class -
