I
need, I want, I tilt.
July 2004 It
is all happening, right here, right now. We exist in the moment; we
create in the moment—
want and need,
give and take, achievement and failure. It’s funny, it’s poignant and it happens without
hesitation. Tilted Frame stretches the boundaries of improvisation with the construction
of an original play live each night incorporating Digital Video and the
Internet. Compelling characters and stirring stories— all
created here and now.
Frame Work
February 2004 Tilted Frame presents their newest
multimedia theater experience, “Frame Work”. Each night, a complete new
play is constructed live on stage through collaboration between actors and
audience. Come build a unique piece of theater from a
blueprint incorporating both classic play structure and modern
elements of digital video, music, and the Internet.
Mixed Signal
September 2003 A unique improvised performance with digital
video, music, and the internet—all live, all fully improvised, and all new
every night. The actors, musicians and technologists use these tools to weave a
seamless performance from the threads of Silicon Valley, Hollywood and the
campfire. Technology is harnessed to the narrative of the theater to produce
stories that are at once cutting edge and fully human. TFI explores the
possibilities of mixing the world's newest and oldest ways to connect.

Stripped June
2003 The creative and technological process
becomes transparent as TFI explores reality, secrets and disclosure using their
acclaimed mix of improvised theatre,
live digital video and tech. Three short plays are created on the spot
revealing not only the mechanics of making theatre, but inner workings of the
human condition.
The Special Connection
February 2003 Love, sex and serendipity explored through and
explosive intermingling of live digital video, music and improvisation.
Bring your special conection
(or vision of the one you’d like to meet) and experience a witty, sexy, and
touching look at relationships in all their splendor and dysfuncion. You
might just have a happy ending.
Tastes Like Random September 2002 Tilted
Frame Improv’s
premiere production explores randomness and connectivity, anarchy and
order. Using a unique blend of improvised theatre and multi-media
technology, including digital video, the internet, cell phones and MP3s, the
troupe negotiates through the chaos to create fresh-squeezed scenes both funny
and moving.
